- Are you located in Germany or the USA?
- Our offices are in Germany. This is because Mr Langner is representing his clients in court proceedings all over Germany and he is attending most of the court hearings himself. However, Mr Langner usually comes to the US at least once a year meeting clients there.
- Do I have to come to Germany personally for court hearings, or can you represent me?
- That depends on the case. In simple and undisputed cases of divorce no German court insists that a party from overseas attends the hearing, which may only last 30 minutes. In cases of child custody or visitation rights, however, the court mostly wants to see the parent demanding any rights towards children.
